Coverage of your day

I offer a completely bespoke service, and the coverage of your wedding will be unique to you, recording the day as it happens. The coverage usually begins about two hours before the ceremony with the preparations of the Bride, including some formal and informal portraiture to show the Bride’s dress. Attendants and parents will also be photographed if appropriate. Quite often I will go to the wedding venue prior to arriving, in order to capture details such as the flowers and table settings.

The arrival of guests for the ceremony follows, with the Groom and his friends and family informally recorded along the way. Coverage of the ceremony – if permitted by the celebrant – is followed by Bride and Groom greeting and mingling with guests. Formal group pictures can be taken if required. Reportage coverage of the day continues through the Reception and speeches into the evening. I usually record the cutting of the cake as it happens rather than a pre-posed ‘fake’ cake cutting shot.

At some point we leave your guests for about 15 – 20 minutes to take some lovely contemporary portraits of you both away from the hurly burly of the celebrations. This is a perfect opportunity – perhaps the only one! – for the two of you to be alone.
